What are some good non-firearm weapons?

What if I’m unable to get access to firearms? What are some other good reliable weapons are good to have?

Answer:
Well, in a pinch any solid blunt object that isn’t too heavy to use for self defense is good to have. A decent baseball bat or shovel handle cut short to make a club are good lightweight options that are durable and easily procured. Stay away from things like crowbars or lead pipes, they’re very heavy and if you swing and miss you’ll not only be off balance (and open to counter-attack) but also potentially injured by over exertion, which is the worst thing you could do in a survival situation.
